Yeah, I hear what you're saying and I do have many political discussions online. But I intentionally set out working on this web page to keep my content firmly categorized into the domain of technology and specifically business technology. Unfortunately if I don't do that, then I find that my mind wanders all over the place. Next thing you know I'm talking about how Doberman Pinschers have no business in the Dalai Lama's return to Tibet.

Plus, in some companies, people will get their guts stomped out for reading politically driven blogs, so I'm hoping to keep this area completely Safe For Work and focused enough that I can write content for it quickly, even when I'm feeling out of focus or bored with it.

Hehe. Chickenpoop. :D What good is a blog that stays apolitical? You buckin' for pagerank? Some of the best arguments ever on my old blog came out of political assertions/discussions. It's not like technology is "above politics", because it will serve whoever is elected, and be served by them, if you will.
