Perhaps instead of AI in the future your TV might run on rat brains?
Well that sucks. I was hoping for cheap humongo TV. And it’s a sign that AMD is really killing Intel. Which I don’t mind so much. I never did understand Intel’s penchant for Rambus.
If I cut off all my arms and legs just so I can get chipped, would you guys still love me?
I’m also trying to rig up a new webserver that’s on Fedora so I can get regular updates to the packages. I installed Fedora Core 3, test 2. It’s been patching itself for a few hours now. Hopefully after that I can get the mail up and running. Then I’ll work on the webserver. Maybe I’ll try and get the campage back up and running too, now that my wireless network is actually extant.
this link will be helpful for a while: http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-t
yeah, this is the cool python script that Kal Ling helped me get up and running:
python ipcheck.py –makedat -c -l -r checkip.dyndns.org username password danieljdoughty.com
I’m on-call this week. And on-call on the new team is a bit serious.
no one complained, so I’m guessing that’s not how most of my readers find me. Anyhow, it’s back up. I really need to rig up a monitoring setup of some sort. I didn’t even notice it was down for quite a while.
It appears the problem was my base station. Or at least that’s my latest suspicion. We’ll see how long I can manage to stay online.
